Our 6’ x 4’ Feather Edge Garden Shed is a low-cost and practical solution when you need additional space to store things in the garden – the traditional garden shed with its classic Apex roof design for maximum space.

Lead Times
Please call ahead to confirm availability or if you have any questions. Once you have placed your order we will confirm an approximate delivery date. We currently have a number of feather edge sheds in stock and our made-to-order bespoke sheds currently have an improved lead time of around 3 weeks.
Dimensions
Our feather edge garden shed (External) dimensions are D: 1.829m (6′) x W: 1.220m (4′) x H: 2.133m (7′). Please note that height is taken from the highest point on the ridge.
Construction
Our Feather Edge garden shed features an apex roof, one single open-out door for ease of access and one fixed window to the side of the shed.
Pressure Treated
Unlike most sheds on the market that are dipped, all of the sheds we manufacture are fully pressure treated to give years of service and peace of mind with little or no aftercare required to prevent rot.
Fitting
Supplied flat packed, ready for assembly, our Feather Edge garden shed is supplied with all fittings required, including roof felt and nails, screws, door hinges, bolts, shed glass, silicone and fascia boards. You will just need the following tools:
- Hammer, drill (for fixing the sections together with the screws provided)
- Spirit level
Typically assembled in only a few hours or less, and requiring no complex tools, our simple instructions take you through, step by step the perfect installation. Please refer to our garden sheds page for more information.
Tech Specs
- Construction Framework and Cladding
- The Walford Timber Feather Edge garden shed is constructed using 32mm x 50mm framework that is then clad with 2ex 22mm x 125mm feather edge board.
- Construction Roof
- Sturdy 11mm OSB board that is then covered with a green mineral felt.
- Construction Floor
- The flooring is again 11mm OSB board, supported by pressure treated joists that allow you to store bicycles and garden tools, furniture and mowers with confidence
- Construction Door
- Diagonal framing and featheredge cladding to match side panels. Basic sliding bolt for security
- Construction Glazing
- Supplied with fixed pane shed glass to allow in natural light.
