What style of fencing are you looking for?
At Walford Timber, we are pleased to offer a range of different styles for all of your timber fencing requirements from residential fencing to agricultural fencing.
For the more functional and commercial needs, we offer solutions such as wire fencing, traditional post and rail fencing and stake and rail fencing.
If you are looking for something more decorative, we offer a range of fence panels as well as trellis panels to allow light into your garden, whilst palisade timber fencing is a great way to define an area. A lot of our fence panels can also be made to measure by us to fit the space in your garden perfectly.
Alternatively, we stock all that you need to construct quality closeboard fencing – it’s a durable way to make your outdoor space secure and private.
Need fencing that is quick and easy to install?
Our quality timber fence panels are pre-made and available in standard sizes that you can easily fit into place between timber or concrete fence posts.
Concrete or timber fence posts?
At Walford Timber, we offer both concrete and timber fence posts. For a traditional finish, we recommend our PermaTimber® posts which are fixed with Post Mix or metal post supports. The fence panels can then be nailed or screwed into place. All of our PermaTimber® products also come with a 15-year guarantee.
Top tip
- If you decide to opt for closeboard timber fencing, be sure to allocate some budget for capping rails and gravel boards. We would also recommend using a wood preservative to create a professional finish that will give your fence panels maximum protection for years to come.
- For easy installation, we recommend U Clips which are an easy way to fix fence panels. Simply fix the clip to the post, then slide the panel into place before securing.
- To create a more modern and contemporary finish, consider using concrete. The posts are set into the ground in channels that allow the timber fencing panel to be slid into place or replaced at a later date.
