A low odour and a matt finish it is designed not to dust and fade like a creosote or bitumen product It is also compatible over well prepared previous tar and creosote finishes and ideal for carposts, fencing, sheds and non-residential barns.

Bird Brand Black Timber Stain provides a rustic and traditional black matt finish. Particularly it is:
- Not intended to dust and fade as much as a Creosote or Bitumen product.
- Compatible over well prepared previously tarred and creosoted surfaces as long as it can soak into porous/sawn timbers.
- Ideally for rough sawn timbers but many report it is OK on smooth.
- An affordable solution for carposts, fencing, sheds and non residential barns.
- On application the gloss finish will turn matt with UV sunlight.
- Contains White Spirit.
- Coverage 5 m² per litre.
