Choosing the right shed for you
How can you be sure you're picking the right shed for your own storage needs? And how can you avoid the usual risks of…
Use picket fencing to create a country cottage garden, create enclosures and protect your plants, all without affecting your view.
Here at G & MB Manning, we use our high performance, pressure-treated timber to create these stunning picket fencing panels.
The panels can have either flat, round, or pointed tops and are constructed using 22x75mm pales, fixed to a 38x75mm backing rail which can be pressure-treated in brown or green. To create a more decorative finish the panels can also be manufactured with a concave top and you can also get individual fence pales in these same styles.
Palisade fencing is the ideal way to add a rural, ‘country cottage’ feel to your outdoor space. As it comes in a variety of styles, you can use it around your garden to create different zones of flowers and plants.
Framing is a key part of cottage garden design and picket fencing is the ideal solution, allowing you to ‘zone’ the garden without affecting the view. It can also offer an informal trellis for climbing roses or provide protection from the elements for taller plants such as hollyhocks.
Create a barrier using picket fencing to protect delicate herbs, flowers, and bushes. Some plants may be poisonous and need to be kept apart from children and animals. Others may just be delicate and require a little extra protection. Either way, you can protect your garden greenery without compromising on design with our beautiful fence panels, responsibly made in the UK.
As our desire for outdoor space grows, so does our need for it to serve multiple purposes. Create a horticultural haven by sectioning areas of your garden into different zones.
Perhaps you want to create a seating area or hide your home office from view. By using picket fencing to block areas off, you can ensure that your whole garden is a multi-functional and cohesive space.
