Space being a premium, Alan Parker from Ampecs recommended a Melanie cabin that could be pushed right back into the corner of the lawn to still give plenty of room in the garden – the UK’s best selling cabin design. Levelling off the ground with a contemporary designed flagstone base not only gave a stunning finish but also a perfect level base to build on and maximum protection for the cabin base to extend its life once installed.

The Melanie Cabin creates a room 9.6 m² The log walls are chalet cut and supplied with wind braces as standard for better protection against wind and rain. Roof boards are tongue and groove for maximum strength and protection and all foundation joists are fully treated to reduce the risk of moisture damage.

In addition, where appropriate the cabin features strong purlins from laminated wood, laminated door frames, low door sills covered with stainless steel, real double glazing, cylinder locks and rubber seals and silicone on the doors/windows.
